1. Friday Night Sound Waves: 10th Anniversary (Feb 6) One of our favorite beachside traditions hits a decade! Head to Las Olas Oceanside Park (The LOOP) this Friday at 7:00 PM for the 10th Anniversary Season opener featuring Sabor Latino. There is nothing like live music with a sea breeze—it’s the perfect way to kick off a February weekend.
2. Handy Moonrise Presented by Moss Foundation (Feb 7) Saturday night is all about philanthropy and sophistication. The Handy Moonrise gala at the Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club is one of the most anticipated events of the season. It’s an evening of high-end dining and dancing under the stars, supporting Broward’s youth. It’s “Tastemaker” energy at its finest.
3. Meet Britto on Las Olas (Feb 7) If you are walking Las Olas this Saturday afternoon (2 PM – 4 PM), stop by the Britto Store. The legendary Romero Britto himself will be there for an exclusive art signing and meet-and-greet. It’s a rare chance to connect with the man whose vibrant pop art has become synonymous with the South Florida lifestyle.
4. The NOBE Sunday Block Party (Feb 8) Finish the weekend at the North Beach (NOBE) Block Party from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It’s a neighborhood-chic gathering with live music and local vendors. It’s our favorite spot to grab a drink, watch the sunset, and toast to another perfect week in the 954.
