1. Boat Show Preview Day (Wednesday, Feb 11) The Miami International Boat Show officially opens its gates at 12:00 PM tomorrow.

Tastemaker Move: Skip the main convention center and head straight to the Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue. This is where the 30′ to 125′ motor yachts live. Preview Day is the only time to see these vessels without the 100,000+ person crowd that arrives Friday.
2. Don Was & The Pan-Detroit Ensemble (Wednesday, Feb 11) For a truly unique Wednesday night, head to The Parker. Legendary producer and bassist Don Was is performing a special set, including a deep dive into the Grateful Dead’s Blues for Allah. It’s sophisticated, slightly underground, and exactly the kind of mid-week culture we love.
3. Broadway is Back: Back to the Future The Broward Center is currently transformed into 1955 (and 1985). Back to the Future: The Musical is running through the weekend. If you haven’t secured tickets, Wednesday and Thursday evening shows are your best bet for avoiding the “Valentine’s Weekend” sell-outs.
4. Neighbor Support Night (Thursday, Feb 12) If you are a local resident, Thursday evening (5:30 PM – 8:00 PM) is Neighbor Support Night at City Hall. It’s a great chance to hear the latest updates on the New River crossing and local infrastructure projects directly from the source.
