Here is what is on our personal hotlist for the next ten days.
1. Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show (Feb 11–15) While the main hubs are in Miami Beach, the “Yachting Capital” energy begins and ends right here in Fort Lauderdale. This is the week where we see a massive influx of international buyers looking at our deep-water estate inventory. Whether you’re heading down to the show or hosting a viewing party on the Intracoastal, this is the definitive week for life on the water.
2. The 5th Anniversary of IGNITE Broward (Feb 13–22) Art meets technology this Friday. IGNITE Broward transforms the city into a digital wonderland. For our local residents, we recommend the kickoff at Reverend Samuel Delevoe Memorial Park. Seeing these massive, interactive light sculptures against the Florida night sky is a masterclass in modern culture. It’s free, family-friendly, and completely immersive.
3. The 2026 A1A Marathon & Half Marathon (Feb 14–15) The ultimate test of coastal endurance returns this weekend. Whether you are running or just cheering with a mimosa in hand at Shooters Waterfront, the energy of the A1A Marathon is infectious. It’s a beautiful reminder of the active, health-conscious lifestyle that draws so many to our shores.
4. Valentine’s Day: A Waterfront Weekend Since Valentine’s falls on a Saturday this year, the city is celebrating all weekend long. From a “Weekend of Love” dinner at Shooters to the intimate garden vibes of Wine Garden in North Beach Village, the options for romance are endless. Pro tip: If you missed a Saturday reservation, many of the best prix fixe menus are available starting Friday the 13th.
