March 2026: The Peak Season Playbook for Fort Lauderdale

If February is the warm-up, March is the main event. As the “Venice of America” enters its most vibrant month, the calendar is packed with events that draw the world to our shores. As lifestyle tastemakers, we’ve identified the “Big Four” experiences that you need to secure your plans for today.

1. The 38th Annual Las Olas Art Fair Part II (Feb 28 – March 1) Technically starting on the last day of February, the first weekend of March belongs to the arts. Las Olas Boulevard transforms into an outdoor gallery featuring 200+ national artists. It is the best time to find that statement piece for your new construction home.

2. St. Patrick’s Parade & Festival (March 13–14) The “Greening of the City” is a multi-day affair. It kicks off Friday, March 13th, with the Street Striping on Las Olas. Saturday, March 14th, is the big event—a massive float parade followed by an Irish festival at Tunnel Top Plaza. Tastemaker Tip: Book your balcony table at a Las Olas restaurant now to watch the parade in style.

3. Dania Beach Wine & Seafood Festival (March 14) If you prefer a sophisticated culinary vibe, Saturday evening belongs to Dania Beach. The Wine & Seafood Festival offers unlimited wine and spirit samplings from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It’s pet-friendly, family-friendly, and a favorite for our local residents who want a more relaxed alternative to the downtown parade crowds.

4. Eric Church: Free The Machine Tour (March 27) To close out the month, country music royalty takes the stage at Hard Rock Live. Eric Church is one of the most anticipated shows of the spring season. We recommend making it a “staycation” weekend at the Guitar Hotel to fully experience the nightlife energy.

The Real Estate Move March historically marks the busiest month for property tours in South Florida. With the current 2026 inventory moving quickly, especially in Rio Vista and Victoria Park, we recommend scheduling your private showings at least two weeks in advance.
