As we look toward the second half of February 2026, Fort Lauderdale’s social calendar shifts from high-energy marathons to sophisticated cultural milestones. This is the time of year when the city truly earns its reputation as a world-class destination. Whether you are looking for an iconic night at the Hard Rock or a meaningful way to give back to the community, here are the late-February events on our personal radar.

1. Andrea Bocelli: Romanza 30th Anniversary (Feb 12) This is the gala event of the season. The legendary Andrea Bocelli is bringing his world tour to Hard Rock Live on February 12th. Celebrating three decades of “Romanza,” this is the ultimate Valentine’s week experience. Tickets for this performance are the highest-coveted in South Florida right now, so if you haven’t secured yours, now is the time.

2. VCA Walk for the Animals (Feb 21) Community impact is a cornerstone of the Fort Lauderdale lifestyle. On February 21st, join us at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park for the VCA Walk for the Animals. It is the largest fundraiser of its kind in Florida, supporting the Humane Society of Broward County. It’s a beautiful morning of community spirit, and yes, your four-legged friends are the guests of honor!

3. Rhythm by the River Featuring Inner Circle (Feb 22) Close out the month with a true Fort Lauderdale vibe. Head to Esplanade Park for Rhythm by the River. This free outdoor celebration features the “Bad Boys of Reggae,” Inner Circle. It’s the perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon—great music, local food trucks, and views of the New River.

4. Rod Stewart Live at the Hard Rock (Feb 27–28) To put an exclamation point on the month, Sir Rod Stewart takes the stage for a two-night residency at the Guitar Hotel. It’s the perfect excuse for a “staycation” weekend—dinner at Kuro followed by a legendary performance.

The Tastemaker’s Take From world-renowned tenors to waterfront reggae, late February represents the diversity of life in Fort Lauderdale.
